You should always think twice before sending a message in any group or private chat.

Are you keeping the same high standards across the board from your public messages to your private ones? You should have the mindset that everything you say on WhatsApp or other messaging service can be screenshotted and made public.

Although we often think that public storms come from posts on social media, it is much more likely to come from a private chat which has then been made public.

If someone was to screenshot your private conversations and made them public, how would that reflect on you?

Remember that privacy does exist in this country and our private conversations and what we do in our private time should remain that way.

People should not be taking screenshots of private conversations and making them public. However, we have to accept that if we are a public figure there is a chance that this could happen, even if the initial screenshot or forward wasn’t intended to cause harm.
