As you can see in the graphic above, it is fairly likely that you will suffer an injury that will keep you out of the game for a period of time during your career.
What this tells us is that improving how you manage injuries is a crucial part of being a successful player. An important thing to remember is that getting injured doesn’t mean you’re losing time. Even though you might need to take a break from the game, it doesn’t mean you can’t make progress. In fact, the time you spend recovering from an injury is an excellent opportunity to improve both as a player and as a person, both on and off the cricket field.
